3 The Goal

Texas Hold'em is played with a standard 52-card deck. Your mission each hand is simple:

Make the best five-card hand — or make everyone else fold.

You get 2 private cards (your "hole cards"). Over the hand, 5 shared community cards are revealed in the middle. You build your best five-card hand using any combination of your 2 cards and the 5 on the board.

4 How a Hand Works

Every hand flows through the same stages, with a round of betting at each:

Blinds

Two players post forced bets — the small blind and big blind — to start the pot.

Hole cards & Pre-flop

Everyone gets 2 private cards. The first betting round begins.

The Flop

3 community cards are dealt face-up. A betting round follows.

The Turn

A 4th community card is revealed. Another betting round.

The River

The 5th and final community card is revealed. The last betting round.

Showdown

Remaining players reveal their hands. The best five-card hand wins the pot.

5 Betting Actions

When it's your turn, you can:

ActionMeaning
CheckPass the action with no bet (only if no one has bet yet).
BetPut chips in the pot and set the price to continue.
CallMatch the current bet to stay in the hand.
RaiseIncrease the current bet, forcing others to call more.
FoldGive up your hand and forfeit any chips already in the pot.
All-inBet your entire stack. You can still win up to what you've contributed.

8 Earn $SPC While You Play

🎁 Play-to-earn Every hand builds play volume, and volume earns $SPC — our Solana token. For every 1 SOLC of volume you generate, you earn 10 $SPC. Win or lose, you're always earning. Read the Whitepaper for full details.

9 Fair Play

  • Cards are dealt fairly to everyone — no exceptions.
  • Every hand is shuffled and dealt at random. No rigging, ever.
  • Be respectful in chat. Toxic behavior spoils the table for everyone.
  • Play within your bankroll and take breaks.

10 Quick Tips for Beginners

  • Play fewer, stronger hands. Fold weak cards before the flop — patience wins.
  • Position matters. Acting last lets you see what others do first.
  • Watch the board. Always ask: what's the best hand possible right now?
  • Manage your stack. Don't risk it all on a marginal hand.
  • Start in the Rookie Lounge to learn the ropes at low stakes.
